Changes to our Services for the Corona Virus (Covid-19) Situation

We are required to complete a risk assessment based on Government guidelines.The "good to go" logo is on this page to show that we have received approval for our measures  - as follows:

An email will be sent to guests 5 days before check in to list our changes and to request that you ensure every detail of your booking has been completed to allow us to pre-print your registration. 

Check In

·         We will provide hand sanitiser in the Entrance Hall (and in the guest lounge and each landing)
·         Guest Temperatures will be checked with a contactless Thermometer. In the unlikely event that this is above 37.8c, then following the government instructions we will have to ask you to return home
·         Registration forms will be pre-printed with details from your booking (we ask that you fill in as many of the details as possible whilst making your booking)
·      Payment to be requested at check in to minimise contact on departure
 

Cleaning

  • Cleaning of the high contact items in public areas such as door handles, bannisters etc. will be intensified using anti-viral cleaning solutions
  • To reduce risks to guests and staff, bedrooms will not be cleaned every day (unless requested). Rubbish will be collected and tea/coffee etc. replenished on request
  • Bedrooms will be left empty for at least 24 hours between guests where possible. In addition an enhanced cleaning schedule has been developed in line with government guidelines, which includes sanitising all touch points e.g. door handles, switches, TV remote etc.
  • The contingency plan where a guest displays possible symptoms of Covid-19 whilst staying here includes closing their room for at least 72 hours followed by implementing the specific cleaning schedule set out by government guidelines

Breakfast

  • This will be brought to your room, due to the current Welsh Government restrictions not allowing use of the dining room
  • At check-in we will agree a time slot with you for when breakfast will be delivered each morning. This is to ensure that we can co-ordinate timely delivery for all rooms.
  •  We are working towards providing as close to our full menu as we can - a menu will be in your room on check in
  • We will ask you to complete an order form the previous evening

Room Changes

  • Add chairs & tables for eating
  • Minimise soft furnishings
  • Take Away Food – Whilst Pubs / Restaurants / Cafes are still only open for take away orders we will enable take away food to be brought in and make the relevant provision for this. 

Please bear with us as we implement these changes – we are all learning to cope with the new way of living with Covid-19 and we will do our very best to ensure your stay is as great as we can make it
